3 Days Rwanda Akagera National Park & Golden Monkeys

Day 1: Akagera National Park Game Drive

Your safari driver/guide meets and pick you up around 5:30am at the hotel and then drive you to Akagera National Park for your Full Day Game Drive from south to North of the Park which will take between 8 to 12hours. Immediately after that drive back to Kigali and Overnight stay.

Day 2: Golden Monkeys Tracking/Bisoke Crater Lake Hiking

Early in the Morning at 04am Drive to Volcano National Park Headquarters for your Golden Monkeys Tracking and here we are to embark on a once in a life experience of the golden monkeys. Once you spot them you are allowed to spend an hour watching your closest long lost cousin. This is perhaps one of the most breathtaking wildlife experiences on earth. You get so close to these awesome giant primates. You stare at each other blankly not knowing who to break the long silence first, through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga is a magical experience then Transfer to Kivu Lake and Overnight stay.

Day 3: Kigali City Tour and Genocide Memorial Visits

After Breakfast at 8am or 9am Drive back to Kigali where you will visit Start historical-minded exploration of Kigali city with visits to landmarks from colonial, post-independence, genocide and post-genocide times i.e. Kigali Genocide memorial site where over 259,000 genocide victims were put to rest in mass graves, Dr. Richard Kant Museum who was the first Germany explorer to settle in Kigali, Belgian camp where they killed the 10 Belgian UN soldiers who were protecting the moderate prime minister before the start of genocide and among others. You will also visit Kimironko Market and Others Craft shops for your Souvenirs, after all activity have maybe Dinner then after Transfer to the Airport for your Flight back Home.
