Here, you will be briefed about the journey and then proceed to the 8 to 10-hour drive with a stopover in Mbarara City, where you will have your heavy, delicious lunch made explicitly for you. En route to your destination, you will stop at the Equator line at Kayabwe for the water experience and take memorable pictures to spice up the journey. At the park headquarters, you’ll receive vital briefings on the Do’s and Don’ts of interacting with the gorillas. Then, a skilled park ranger will guide you to a specific gorilla family. As you trek through the breathtaking impenetrable forest, immerse yourself in the stunning scenery and vibrant wildlife, including birds like the handsome francolin and Rwenzori turaco.
Once you locate the gorillas, you will enjoy a full hour observing their fascinating behaviors.
