Start your day with a hearty breakfast, and prepare for the adventure ahead by dressing appropriately in a long-sleeved shirt, sturdy khaki or jean trousers, a round cap, and waterproof boots. These will protect you from falling branches in the Impenetrable Forest and prepare you for unpredictable weather. Don’t forget to pack some snacks and water to stay hydrated throughout your trek.

Next, head to the park’s headquarters for a crucial briefing on the Do’s and Don’ts while interacting with the mountain gorillas. If luck is on your side, you may spot chimpanzees, as Bwindi is one of the few parks where gorillas and chimpanzees coexist.

After an unforgettable experience, you’ll return to your accommodation for a delicious lunch, then set out to visit the Batwa community, the original inhabitants of the ancient Impenetrable Forest, before it was declared a National Park and UNESCO World Heritage site in 1992.
